This fire was on State Road 19 which is about 6 miles
South of Palatka, Florida. It started May 26, 2000 and kept firefighters
busy for over three six NINE days! There
were at least twelve tractor plow units from the State of Florida, Georgia,
South Carolina and a private company.
Many thanks to all who supported the firefighters by bringing us food and
drinks! You are our heros.
